Jenny Garneij new Head of HR at Swedbank

Jenny Garneij has been appointed as the new Head of HR and Facility Management
at Swedbank and thereby becomes a member of the Group Executive Committee. She
will replace the current manager, Carina Strand, by the beginning of July at the
latest.
"Jenny Garneij has experience from both financial and non-financial companies. I
look forward to together with Jenny contineto develop our business, our
employees and our attractiveness as an employer," says Jens Henriksson,
President and CEO of Swedbank.
Jenny Garneij joins from Tele2 in a role as Head of Human Resources and member
of Group Management. She has previously worked at Nordea, SEB and Nordnet. Jenny
holds a Master's degree from the University of Gothenburg.
"I look forward to starting at Swedbank. With its important role in society and
the many customers in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Swedbank has a
fantastic position as an employer," says Jenny Garneij, incoming Head of HR and
Facility Management Swedbank.
Carina Strand, who has been Head of HR and Facility Management since 2017, will
continue until Jenny takes office, after which she will leave the bank.
"Carina has developed leadership and modernized HR in the bank. She has also
been a well-liked colleague, manager and member of Group Management. I would
like to thank Carina for her valuable work," says Jens Henriksson.
