Alternus Energy Group Plc (“AEG”) was informed today by its US legal counsel
that the Supreme Court of the State of New York ruled against one of AEG’s US
subsidiaries, Altam, Inc., in favour of Marketplace SPV LLC and awarded
$7,174,547 to MarketPlace. In addition, MarketPlace was awarded $355,291 being
legal and court costs.
Further information will be made available once AEG and Altam have more fully
assessed the implications of the award. As Altam is a subsidiary of AEG only
and is not a subsidiary of Alternus Clean Energy Inc. (“ALCE”), this judgement
has no effect or impact on ALCE.
