Alternus Energy Group PLC (“AEG” or the “Company”) was informed today by its US
legal counsel that Sunrise has filed Confessions of Judgment with the Fourth
Judicial District of the Minnesota courts, and Sunrise have the right to take
default judgment against AEG, and its two indirect wholly owned subsidiaries,
ALT US 03 LLC and ALT US 04 LLC, jointly and severally, in the amount of
$4,549,616 and an additional default judgment in the amount of $516,400 on
December 31, 2024.

Further information will be made available once AEG has assessed the
implications of the filed Confessions of Judgment.
