Building a new school in Västerås

HMB, a subsidiary of AF Gruppen, has been awarded the contract to build a new
primary school, Ekbergaskolan, on behalf of the City of Västerås. The contract
is a total enterprise and is valued at SEK 195 million excluding VAT.

The contract includes the construction of a total of 7,200 m² GFA distributed
over two floors. Upon completion, the new school will accommodate 575 primary
school students from 1st to 6th grade in three parallel classes. The school will
offer modern and functional educational facilities that support a high-quality
education for students in Västerås.

Construction is planned to start in the first half of 2025 with completion in
2027
