Sparebanken Sør: Contemplating issuance of Tier 2 bonds

Sparebanken Sør (Issuer rating A1/Positive by Moody’s) has mandated Danske Bank
and DNB Markets as Joint Lead Managers for a potential issuance of Tier 2 bonds
of up to NOK 600 million.

The Tier 2 bonds will have a floating and/or fixed rate coupon and a first call
option for the issuer minimum 5 years after the issue date, subject to an
approval from the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, if required.

The timing of the potential transactions is subject to market conditions. The
bank’s General Assembly has approved the potential bond issue.
