Betonmast, a company within AF Gruppen, has entered into an agreement with
Arbeidsmandsforbundets hus AS for the rehabilitation and expansion of an office
building at Grubbegata 4-6 in Oslo. The contract is a collaborative project and
is valued at approximately NOK 146 million, excluding VAT.
The project includes an office building that will be expanded by about 1,900 m².
The existing area of approximately 4,100 m² will be rehabilitated. The building
will, among other things, house the Norwegian Workers’ Union. Additionally,
there will be outward-facing businesses at street level. The office building
will have a green profile, focusing on energy, reuse, and recycling, and plans
to be BREEAM certified to BREEAM Very Good Bespoke.
“Betonmast has extensive experience with collaborative and rehabilitation
projects in central Oslo. This project suits us well with our expertise in
complex extensions and rehabilitation in the city center. We look forward to
close cooperation with the customer on this project”, says Peter Sandrup, CEO of
Betonmast.
The project has been developed in a collaborative phase. Demolition work has
begun, and completion is set for the fourth quarter of 2025.
