Implementation of merger of Gjensidige and its wholly owned Danish subsidiary Gjensidige Forsikring Tidligere PenSam Forsikring A/S

Reference is made to the announcement on 24 April 2024 regarding the approval of
a merger between Gjensidige Forsikring ASA ("Gjensidige") and its fully-owned
Danish subsidiary, Gjensidige Forsikring Tidligere PenSam Forsikring A/S
("Pensam"). The merger has been approved by the financial supervisory
authorities in both Norway and Denmark, and the merger was implemented today.

This information is subject to disclosure under the Norwegian Securities Act
section § 5-12 and the requirements of Oslo Børs' Continuing Obligations.
