GCP Technology AS Acquires Majority Stake in Parx Materials NV.

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, 29 July 2024 – Parx Materials NV (Euronext Access: NL0012650535), a pioneer in antimicrobial and antifouling technology, today announced that the majority of its shares have been acquired by GCP Technology AS, a Norwegian company, supported by a consortium of Norwegian investors. This strategic acquisition aims to further implement and expand the groundbreaking technology developed by Parx Materials.
Founded in 2012 by Mr. M. van der Jagt and Mr. M. Fiori, Parx Materials NV has been at the forefront of developing and marketing innovative antimicrobial solutions. The founders, who together held the majority of the shares, have transferred their stakes to GCP Technology AS. Mr. Van der Jagt and Mr. Fiori will continue to be actively involved in the company for at least the coming year to ensure a smooth transition.
As of today, GCP Technology AS holds 5,939,335 shares of the total 10,422,760 shares, representing nearly 57% of Parx Materials' share capital.
