Bergen, Norway, July 16, 2024 – M Vest Water (EURONEXT: MVW) has taken further
successful steps to verify its position as a leading BAT supplier of treatment
technology for salmon slaughterhouse wastewater. In collaboration with a global
leader in this industry, MVW has completed verification of its NORWAPOL®
technology with outstanding results. NORWAPOL® is our proprietary filter system
combined with the use of our natural water treatment chemicals NORWAFLOC®

MVW can now take position as a significant equipment supplier to salmon
slaughterhouse wastewater treatment plants with a strengthened competitiveness
and cement its position as BAT supplier, not only as a chemical provider but
also as a substantial equipment provider with our proprietary NORWAPOL®
technology. The technology has global applications within the aquaculture
industry. The (Norwegian) market for salmon slaughterhouses alone, is an
emerging annual 100 MNOK recurring chemical revenue market. "Our breakthrough is
a significant increase of our potential in this developing market with the
add-on that MVW is now positioned to further increase revenues from supply of

With this breakthrough, M Vest Water has documented further improvement for the
best available technology (BAT) to salmon slaughterhouse in Norway meeting the
new and restricted EU discharge regulation enforced on this industry with effect
from December 4th, 2023.

By adding NORWAPOL® as an additional treatment step to the NORWAFLOC®
environmentally friendly chemical treatment, already successfully applied
commercially, MVW has developed a further significant improvement to meet the
stringent EU regulation imposed on this industry.
