Lier, 5 July 2024: Kid ASA today announces unaudited revenue figures for the
second quarter of 2024 (previous year in parentheses). For definition of like
-for-like sales, please see latest quarterly report at www.investor.kid.no.
GROUP
Q2 revenues increased by +10.6% (-2.5%) to MNOK 797.8 (MNOK 721.3[1]). Like-for
-like sales increased by +9.2%[2] (-3.3%).
Online sales accounted for 12.1% (12.1%[2]) of total revenues in the quarter.
For the first six months of 2024, Group revenues increased by +12.0% (-1.9%) to
MNOK 1,494.3 (MNOK 1,333.6[3]). Like-for-like sales increased by +11.3%[2] (
-1.9%).
SEGMENT KID INTERIOR
Q2 revenues increased by +11.0% (-1.1%) to MNOK 500.4 (MNOK 450.7). Like-for
-like sales increased by +9.5% (-2.0%). Online sales increased by +15.4%
(+15.6%).
For the first six months of 2024, revenues increased by +12.1%
(+1.7%) to MNOK 938.1 (MNOK 836.6). Like-for-like sales increased by +11.1%
(+0.5%). Online sales increased by +23.3% (+17.9%).
Two stores were opened and one store was closed during the quarter. There were
one refurbished store and two relocated stores. The total number of physical
stores at the end of the quarter was 158 (156). The number of shopping days in
the quarter was 73 (71).
SEGMENT HEMTEX
Q2 revenues increased by +9.9% (-4.8%) to MSEK 295.6 (MSEK 268.9). Like-for-like
sales increased by +8.7% (-5.4%). Online sales increased by +3.1% (+2.5%).
For the first six months of 2024, revenues increased by +11.9% (-7.7%) to MSEK
551.3 (MSEK 492.7). Like-for-like sales increased by +11.6% (-5.9%). Online
sales increased by +0.2% (-6.2%).
Two stores were opened and three stores were closed during the quarter. There
were three refurbished stores and no stores were relocated. The total number of
physical stores at the end of the quarter was 128 (128). The number of shopping
days in the quarter was 90 (90).
The quarterly report for the second quarter of 2024 will be announced 22 August
2024 at CEST 07:30.
