Pryme completes first delivery of pyrolysis oil
01 Jul 2024 08:00 CEST
Rotterdam, 1 July 2024
On June 29th, Pryme (the “Company”) made its first shipment to a customer of
pyrolysis oil. The shipment contained the first 36 metric tons of the Company’s
production from its Pryme One facility. As has been published earlier, the first
oil produced represents a blend of the starter fluid in the installation and the
first oil produced. Thus, the product shipped does not represent pure pyrolysis
oil, but rather a blend and consequently is priced somewhat below Pryme’s
contractual price for pyrolysis oil. The shipment resulted in revenues of around
Euro 30,000. For the next shipments, the Company expects higher pricing levels
as such deliveries will contain a higher quality pyrolysis oil.
During the second quarter, Pryme produced 120 metric tons of pyrolysis oil
during multiple production runs with improved production performance. The first
shipment of pyrolysis oil to a customer is a significant milestone for the
Company although the production volumes fell short of the Company’s own
expectation of producing 500 metric tons of pyrolysis oil in the second quarter
of 2024. The Company expects to ship the remaining stock and its third quarter
pyrolysis oil production throughout the third quarter.
Further details regarding the Q2 production and the production outlook for Q3
will be provided in the Company’s half-year report to be published on August
2nd, 2024.
