Reference is made to the press release dated 28 June 2024, regarding completed
share capital reduction in connection with share repurchase programme.

Norske Skog ASA ("Norske Skog", Oslo Børs Ticker: NSKOG) has been notified that
the following primary insiders have exceeded thresholds for flagging of shares
and voting rights as a result of the completed share capital reduction.

Byggma ASA, closely associated with CEO and primary insider in Norske Skog Geir
Drangsland, owns and/or controls 17,430,431 shares and voting rights (equal to
approximately 20.5%) in Norske Skog ASA.

Geir Drangsland owns and/or controls 22,774,079 shares (equal to approximately
26.8%) in Norske Skog ASA.
