Disclosure of large shareholding

Pursuant to section 4-1 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act, we hereby give
notice that the funds managed by Newtyn Management, LLC sold 78,432 shares of
Akastor ASA on June 20, 2024; which brings the total number of shares held by
the Newtyn funds to 41,068,543 shares. This represents 14.99% of the 274,000,000
issued shares and voting rights.

The shares and voting rights are held as follows:
16,037,572 shares held by Newtyn Partners, LP
25,030,971 shares held by Newtyn TE Partners, LP
