HÖRMANN Industries corrects sales and earnings forecast for the current
financial year 2024
Kirchseeon, 27 May 2024 - HÖRMANN Industries GmbH (corporate bond, ISIN
NO0012938325) is reducing its sales and earnings forecast for the current
financial year 2024, taking into account and evaluating the latest sales
forecasts from the truck industry and the current order situation. The company
now expects sales of between EUR 680 million and EUR 700 million and earnings
before interest and taxes (EBIT) of between EUR 16 million and EUR 20 million.
Previously, sales were expected to be within the range of EUR 700 million to EUR
730 million and EBIT between EUR 22 million and EUR 24 million.
The HÖRMANN Group's forecast adjustment is due to the surprising reduction in
the 2024 production programme by 15% compared to the forecast at the beginning
of the year, which was communicated by the main customer recently. The detailed
internal analysis that has now been completed shows that this unexpectedly sharp
decline will have a significant negative impact on the positively planned sales
and earnings development of the HÖRMANN Automotive division in the current 2024
financial year, which is therefore expected to return to negative earnings after
the operational turnaround in 2023.
