Report: Airthings’ Sustainability Journey

Airthings has been part of the UN Global Compact since 2020 and supports its ten
corporate sustainability principles. The report outlines the steps taken in 2023
to improve the company’s progress toward sustainability goals. The report also
explains how Airthings incorporates the UN’s Global Compact Principles into its
strategy, assessing impacts, risks, and opportunities, and shares planned
initiatives for 2024.

The report lists ten sustainability highlights in three main areas: planet,
people, and business. Among these, Airthings reports that it has educated more
than 4 million people worldwide about indoor air quality since 2020. The
company’s total CO2 estimated emissions also decreased by 23% compared to 2022
due to reductions in the products' carbon footprints, logistics, and marketing
spend. The company also highlights that its customers saved about 13.5k tons of
CO2 estimated emissions.
