Oslo, 22 May 2024: Bouvet had operating revenues of NOK 1 015.7 million for the
first quarter of 2024, compared with NOK 945.1 million in the same period of
last year. Operating profit (EBIT) came to NOK 135 million, compared with NOK
131.6 million in the first quarter of 2023.
“The first quarter of 2024 was very good for Bouvet, with robust revenue growth,
strong profitability and many new, committed Bouveters joining the team. We are
proud of and pleased with the results achieved and the value we have managed to
create together,” says Per Gunnar Tronsli, CEO of Bouvet ASA.
Bouvet’s operating costs, including depreciation, came to NOK 880.7 million for
the first quarter, compared with NOK 813.5 million in the same period of 2023.
That represents an increase of 8.3 per cent.
The EBIT margin for the first quarter was 13.3 per cent, compared with 13.9 per
cent in the first quarter last year.
Net profit came to NOK 105.2 million, compared with NOK 104.7 million for the
first quarter of 2023. Diluted earnings per share were NOK 1.01 for the quarter,
compared with NOK 1.00 in the same period of last year.
