TOMRA – Disclosure of large shareholding

KIRKBI Invest A/S (“Kirkbi”) has today purchased 77,474 shares in Tomra Systems
ASA (the “Company”). Following this transaction, Kirkbi owns a total of
14,833,232 shares in the Company, corresponding to approximately 5.01% of the
share capital and votes in the Company.

This disclosure is made pursuant to section 4-2 of the Norwegian Securities
Trading Act.
