OCI N.V. Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

OCI N.V. (Euronext: OCI) today announced the appointment of Hassan Badrawi as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 1 October, 2017. Mr. Salman Butt is stepping down after serving 12 years as Group CFO and will remain as an advisor to OCI to ensure a smooth transition.

OCI N.V.’s Board of Directors will propose the appointment of Mr. Badrawi as a member of the Board of Directors to the next general meeting of shareholders to be held in June 2018.

Hassan Badrawi has served as Executive Vice President of OCI N.V. since 2016. Mr. Badrawi joined OCI in 2001 and has held various leadership positions, encompassing M&A, strategy, business development and investor relations. Mr. Badrawi has led the group’s investment activities globally across multiple sectors including building materials, fertilizers, chemicals, infrastructure and construction. He has a degree in Economics and Political Science from Duke University, United States.
