This week, Euronext joined stock exchanges around the world in the global ‘Ring the Bell for LGBTIQ+ Equality’ initiative, organised by the Sustainable Stock Exchanges initiative in collaboration with the UN Global Compact and partner organisations, in recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

For the second consecutive year, Euronext participated in the initiative to reaffirm its commitment to fostering a workplace culture grounded in inclusion, respect and equal opportunity for all.

As Europe’s leading capital market infrastructure, Euronext believes that diverse and inclusive workplaces are essential for collaboration, innovation and sustainable growth. Through its participation in this global celebration, Euronext joins other exchanges in raising awareness of the importance of creating professional environments free from discrimination.

Ringing the bell for inclusion

As part of the global initiative, Euronext hosted Ring the Bell ceremonies in Brussels, Dublin, London, Paris and Porto, alongside local activities held across the Group. These included networking breakfasts and community brunches, keynote sessions and Q&As with external speakers and inclusion advocates, online webinars open to employees, as well as awareness and discussion initiatives designed to encourage dialogue and engagement around inclusion and diversity topics. In Oslo, local teams organised awareness-focused activities to mark the initiative, while Amsterdam sounded the gong.

The celebration provided an opportunity to encourage dialogue around inclusion in the workplace and to reinforce the role organisations can play in fostering environments where all employees feel respected, supported and empowered to succeed. It also highlighted the importance of actively fighting discrimination in all its forms and creating spaces where employees feel confident speaking up, knowing that Euronext is firmly committed to maintaining an inclusive and non-discriminatory environment. By ensuring that every individual feels safe, valued and able to contribute fully, the Group strengthens its organisation and the markets it serves.

Inclusion as part of Euronext’s long-term vision

With colleagues representing a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives across Europe and beyond, inclusion remains an important part of Euronext’s culture and values.

Through the Innovate for Growth 2027 strategic plan, Euronext continues to promote diversity and inclusion as drivers of innovation, collaboration and sustainable performance. By embedding these principles across workplace practices and culture, Euronext aims to ensure that everyone has equal access to opportunities and can contribute fully to the organisation’s success.

On this year’s ‘Ring the Bell for LGBTIQ+ Equality’, Euronext is proud to stand alongside other global exchanges in supporting a more inclusive and respectful workplace for all.
