Tarkett is one of the world’s leaders in the development, manufacturing and marketing of ground and surface coating to companies and private individuals. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:

• ground coating (88.7%): parquets, laminates, fitted carpets, vinyl flooring, conductive PVC flooring, PVC non-slip floors, etc. used primarily in hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, shops, hotels and offices. Net sales break down by country into Europe/Middle East/Africa (34.3%), North America (23.2%) and other (42.5%);
• sports surfaces (11.3%).

At the end of 2012, the group had 30 production sites worldwide.
