Direct trading procedure
Following the publication on the date hereof by MIITAL STEEL of a press release indicating that following the public offer, it holds 91.88 % of Arcelor fully-diluted share capital, the 255,401,673 existing class A common shares of Mittal Steel with a €0.01 par value, will be admitted to trading on Euronext Paris as from 27 July 2006.
The new Mittal Steel class A common shares to be issued as consideration for the initial offering period ended on July 13, 2006 will be admitted to trading on the settlement date, i.e., on August 1, 2006.
The new Mittal Steel class A common shares to be issued as consideration for the subsequent offering period starting on July 27 until August 17, 2006 will be admitted to trading on the settlement date of this subsequent offering period, scheduled to take place on 4 September 2006. Another notice will be published to this effect.
