Medica is the third-largest dependency care operator in France, behind Korian and Orpea, with around 11,000 operational beds. Founded in 1968, the group generates 70% of its revenues from nursing homes, in which it ranks fourth in the French private sector, with a 7% market share. The remaining revenues are earned in short-term dependency care, i.e care/rehabilitation and psychiatric clinics.
