F.RAMA Investimentos is a Portuguese holding company with controlling interests in two different business areas: steel and storage systems. The company transforms and sells steel, design and develop storage solutions that sell through its network of subsidiaries and distributors nationally and internationally. Ramada group has a wide range of projects in the area of storage systems in Portugal and abroad (including outside Europe as in Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, Serbia, Norway, Greenland, the Middle East, China, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, South Africa, USA). In 2007, Turnover was €108M and EBITDA 13.2 million €, with 223 million € of net assets and net debt of 65.7 million €.

This operation was carried out with the focus of the business unit corresponding to the autonomous management of shareholdings in the steel sector and storage systems of ALTRI, SGPS, SA. Considering the factor of allocation established for "spin-off" was given to shareholders of ALTRI, SGPS, SA one F. Ramada Investimentos shares for every 4 rights detainees.
