Activity description
Chemtura Corporation est spécialisé dans la fabrication et la commercialisation de produits chimiques de spécialités destinés notamment aux secteurs de l’agriculture, de l’automobile, de la construction, de l’électronique et du transport. Le CA par famille de produits se répartit comme suit :
- produits chimiques industriels (73,6%) : produits de performance (61% du CA ; additifs pétroliers, polyuréthanes, antioxydants, etc.) et produits d’ingénierie (39% ; produits bromés, organométalliques, ignifuges et fumigènes) ;
- produits chimiques de consommation (14%) : produits de purification des eaux, produits nettoyants et décapants ;
- produits chimiques agricoles (12,4%) : notamment produits phytosanitaires.
A fin 2011, le groupe dispose de 31 sites de production dans le monde.
La répartition géographique du CA est la suivante : Etats-Unis (42,7%), Europe et Afrique (30,5%), Asie-Pacifique (19,5%), Amérique latine (5,3%) et Canada (2%).
