Sept 28 (Reuters) - German container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd on Monday raised its full-year earnings outlook, while cautioning it could change due to a high degree of uncertainty fueled by volatile freight rates and geopolitical tensions.

The company now expects earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the full year of between $3.9 billion and $4.4 billion, it said in a statement.

It also raised its group earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) forecast for the year to a range of $1.25 billion to $1.75 billion.
