Forvia quarterly revenue broadly stable despite auto market weakness
By Mathias de Rozario and Gilles Guillaume
Nov 2 (Reuters) - French car parts supplier Forvia reported broadly unchanged organic revenue for the third quarter on Monday, outperforming overall automotive production in Europe and North America.
"To summarise, we have an improving sales trend, a return to outperformance relative to the market, and strong momentum in most regions," finance chief Olivier Durand said in a call with journalists.
• Revenue fell 0.6% organically to €5.08 billion ($5.68 billion), a smaller decline than the 1.5% seen in the first nine months of 2026
• Europe was the standout region with organic sales growth of 4.1%, while North America grew 0.4%
• Sales in China fell 17.2% organically as international carmakers weakened, but Forvia saw improvements with local companies
• Electronics business grew 7% organically, Clarion 22%; meanwhile, Lighting and Seating fell 7.8% and 4.4%, respectively
• Regulatory approvals for the sale of its Interiors business to Apollo are complete and the closing is expected in the fourth quarter
• Forvia confirmed its 2026 guidance and said it expected to outperform the market in the fourth quarter
