Face-to-face classes take an active approach to learning, with practical exercises and Q & A sessions. The emphasis throughout is on positive, fruitful interaction between teachers and learners.

Online we combine teacher-led video learning with interactive self-learning course materials and the ability to test on an on-going basis to ensure progress.

Many of our courses are flexible, blending the two to give every student the opportunity to learn in the way that’s best for them.

Using our own e-learning platform, we organise online classes, convening participants together to work in small groups at a distance. These classes are managed by specialist teachers and tutors and based upon the ‘collaborative learning’ methodology.

The collaborative learning methodology promotes sharing of knowledge and expertise and augments the learning process through ‘peer-to-peer’ discussions and online group works.

By using asynchronous activities (such as message exchanges in discussion forums) or synchronous activities (such as chats and virtual classrooms), this methodology strengthens team working and ultimately the working group identity.

Often we learn best when we need to explain new ideas to others. This insight drives our approach to course design based on the ‘collaborative learning’ methodology.

"Inside the Markets" is offered at three levels and is aimed at university students, upper secondary schools and graduates. Every level includes a visit to the historic Borsa headquarters and a workshop, led by our experts, tailored to the knowledge level of the participants.

Introductory: for young students or people who want to know more about the stock exchange and its functions (2 hours)

Intermediate: aimed at people who have a little financial knowledge and are looking for a complete overview of markets, their functions and challenges (4 hours)

Advanced: this workshop presents the entire trading life circle, focusing on primary markets, secondary markets and post trade (2 days)

Borsa headquarter is not only the "heart" of finance in Milan, but is also a very important piece of architecture. Palazzo Mezzanotte is a beautiful masterpiece of Italian design, which includes unique ceramic by Giò Ponti and the ruins of a Roman theatre, merging different historic period in one building.
