Norway to invest $107 million in Ukraine, aims to boost defence
OSLO, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Norway's government said on Tuesday that it is setting aside 1 billion Norwegian crowns ($107.60 million) for investments in Ukraine to be made in partnership with the Nordic country's business sector.
• The funding is intended to help mobilise further Norwegian private capital for investments in the Ukrainian defence industry, the government said in a statement
• "Norwegian investments can help the Ukrainian defence sector to develop even more rapidly," said Norway's Minister of Industry and Commerce Cecilie Myrseth
• Norway's state-owned investment company Investinor will manage the scheme
