Bosch to reorganize corporate structure, create Mobility subsidiary in Germany
Oct 22 (Reuters) - The world's top automotive supplier Bosch Group said on Thursday it will transfer its German Mobility operations and central service units into separate wholly owned subsidiaries as it seeks to speed up decision-making and improve competitiveness.
• German Mobility operations and the Bosch Digital, Global Business Services and Global Real Estate units will be moved into separate legal entities from Robert Bosch GmbH
• Around 62,500 employees in Germany, mostly from Mobility, are expected to transfer to the new subsidiaries
• Robert Bosch GmbH will primarily become a corporate headquarters and central research organization, covering more than 3,000 employees
• Bosch plans to implement the changes in stages by the end of 2027, with the new entities scheduled to begin operations on August 1, 2027
• Bosch said the new structure could also create opportunities for strategic partnerships and new business models
• Mobility is Bosch's largest business sector, which generated about 60% of the group's sales revenue in 2025
