EU court dismisses Poland’s demand to suspend Mercosur implementation

BRUSSELS, Sept 29 (Reuters) - The European Court of Justice on Tuesday dismissed a demand by Poland to stop the implementation of the EU's free trade agreement with South ‌America.

Poland filed a complaint to the European Union's top court about the Mercosur free trade agreement in May, as Warsaw tried to stop the deal ​it said would harm farmers.
