Oslo 10 July 2026: Höegh Autoliners ASA ("Höegh Autoliners" or the "Company",
ticker code “HAUTO”)
has agreed an extension of an existing contract with a major Asian car producer
for the transportation of cars in a key trade lane. The extended contract runs
until December 2029 and reflects increased committed volumes and updated
commercial terms in line with observed market rates. The new terms have been
applicable since May 1, 2026 and represent USD 300m added revenue basis
forecasted volume during the extension period.
Andreas Enger, CEO of Höegh Autoliners, commented:
“The extension of this contract highlights Höegh Autoliners’ continued effort in
building contract backlog and support strategically important customers. The
agreement establishes a strong long-term commitment from the customer, and we
are pleased to further develop the partnership in the years to come. The
agreement also includes the addition of Xiaomo port in southern China, further
strengthening Höegh Autoliners’ service offering out of Asia”.
