Glamox acquires Consolite Technology Limited
09 Jul 2026 10:00 CEST
Oslo, Norway, 9 July 2026 – Glamox has completed the acquisition of Consolite
Technology Limited, a UK-based company specialising in military lighting and
optical communication systems.
The acquisition strengthens Glamox's capabilities within the naval and defence
market and complements the Group's existing portfolio and expertise in the
Marine, Offshore & Wind division. Together with MARL International, acquired in
2024, Consolite expands Glamox's technology portfolio and engineering
capabilities, enabling the Group to better support naval and defence customers
with advanced, mission-critical lighting solutions.
Consolite, headquartered in Zeals, United Kingdom, employs approximately 30
people and has more than 40 years of experience developing specialised lighting
and optical communication systems for naval and defence applications.
"The acquisition of Consolite is another important step in strengthening
Glamox's capabilities within the naval and defence market. Together with MARL,
Consolite expands our technology portfolio and engineering expertise, enabling
us to better support our customers with advanced, mission-critical lighting
solutions," says Astrid Simonsen Joos, Chief Executive Officer of Glamox.
Following completion of the transaction, Consolite will become part of Glamox's
