MULHOUSE, France, June 2 (Reuters) - Stellantis will build 2 million cars on its new STLA One platform by 2035, CEO Antonio Filosa said on Tuesday, adding that the platform will be 20 percent more competitive than the current architecture.

The STLA One platform, one of the pillars of the group's new strategy unveiled last month, will be launched in Spain in 2027 with production of the new Peugeot 208, Reuters has reported.

Stellantis was showcasing at its Mulhouse plant a platform to allow it to compete, in terms of costs, with Chinese rivals in the European market.
