Britain's M&S joins forces with Sephora to expand beauty offer
LONDON, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Marks & Spencer on Tuesday struck a partnership with Sephora that will bring the LVMH-owned cosmetics retailer's products to its stores and website, bolstering the British group's push into beauty.
• The UK beauty market is worth an annual £5.2 billion ($6.9 billion) and grew 1.2% year-on-year in the year to July 19, 2026, according to WorldPanel by Numerator data
• M&S sees the beauty market as an opportunity for major growth as its share was only 1.3% in the 12 weeks to July 19, 2026
• The company said it will bring Sephora to 100 high streets and retail parks across the UK through a shop-in-shop model
• M&S.com will offer a broader online range, with home delivery and Click & Collect from M&S stores nationwide
• The final brand line-up will be confirmed closer to launch, alongside details of new-to-M&S names and selected Sephora exclusives
