Grameenphone - results for the second quarter 2026
14 Jul 2026 16:50 CEST
Nom de l'emetteur
Telenor ASA
Telenor Group’s subsidiary in Bangladesh, Grameenphone, has today announced its
results for the second quarter of 2026. Telenor’s consolidated figures in NOK
million are as follows:
Q2 26
Q2 25
- Service revenues 2,911 3,315
- Adjusted EBITDA 1,777 2,090
- Operating profit 1,108 1,345
- CAPEX excl. leases 421 269
Service revenues declined by 3.2% on an organic basis, and adjusted EBITDA
declined by 6.1% on an organic basis. The performance reflected lower voice
usage, muted data growth and a competitive pricing environment, partly mitigated
by efficiency initiatives including energy optimisation in the networks, vendor
cost negotiations and continued focus on commercial spend efficiency.
Grameenphone added 2.1 million subscribers during the quarter.
