Photonike Capital SA continues its positioning strategy in the insurance market:
The Photonike insurance team has refined the licensing application criteria and appointed official liaison representatives with NBB.
An exclusive and binding agreement was signed in 2025 to acquire a fully licensed insurance broker in France. This broker will be part of the European distribution network, primarily in the life insurance sector.
In Italy, a binding and exclusive agreement was signed to acquire an MGA, appointed by Accelerant insurance company for the non-life sector in Italy and with collection contracts with car dealership networks.
The strategic experience with Nucleus Life AG has been concluded, as it is no longer necessary for the development plans. Photonike management withdrew from the company's management already in March 2025, after returning the company to profitability in 2024. A complete exit from the group is expected by 2026. Meanwhile, NLAG has been placed into liquidation following the transfer of its remaining portfolio. The exit will have no impact on the company's balance sheet 2026.
The development of the risk assessment software will be entrusted to an italian AI development company, in which Photonike Capital SA invested approximately €100,000 in 2025. This company has received government grants totaling over €350,000 to complete the operational version of the software and the management applications for the group's future operations.
The company has also invested in the exclusive licensing of two patents in the energy sector for Belgium, specifically an innovative process for the production of green hydrogen and an aluminum-air battery for the automotive sector.
