June 4 (Reuters) - Spain's seasonally- and calendar-adjusted industrial output rose 2% in April from the same month a year earlier, official data from the country's national statistics institute (INE) showed on Thursday.

The rise was in line with the average forecast from analysts polled by Reuters.

INE also revised upward the year-on-year figure for the month of March to 1.9% expansion from an original 1.8%.
