Powering the next phase of growth in European equity derivatives
Since the integration of Euronext Clearing in September 2024, Euronext has played a pivotal role in advancing European equity options. Over the past two years, we have launched several significant initiatives that have strengthened the connection between deep domestic liquidity pools and international capital.
Euronext’s role in European derivatives trading
Euronext is uniquely positioned as the growth engine for European derivatives trading. By bringing together eight leading European exchanges, Euronext connects local liquidity with global investors, supporting a broad and diversified range of trading flows across markets.
Development in equity derivatives products
Recent product launches include mini single stock options and mini options on German socks. These additions are intended to provide more flexible trading tools for both institutional and retail participants interested in European equities.
Enhancing market quality and liquidity
Ongoing efforts to improve market quality have led to changes in the French and Italian equity options markets. These changes are aimed at supporting liquidity, transparency and efficient trading conditions.
