Valtecne S.p.A. is specialized in the design, manufacture and marketing of precision mechanical components. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:

• precision machined parts for orthopedic surgery (60.1%): surgical instruments (cutting guides, pin pliers, femoral sizers, femoral pins, femoral feelers, pin handles, cup impactors, chisels and reamers, cups, tibial resection guides, curettes, etc.) and implantable devices (femoral stems, femoral heads, stem collars, acetabular cups, tibial implants, etc.) intended primarily for hip and knee arthroplasty, and shoulder and spine reconstruction;

• industrial mechanical components (39.9%): machined and forged parts for the energy industry (gas and steam turbine blades, compressor blades, etc.), the power transmission (planetary gearboxes, hubs, casings, etc.), the automotive industry (rocker arms and gearboxes for combustion engines) and the mechanical engineering.

At the end of 2023, the group has a production site located in Italy. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Italy (43.9%), European Union (0.1%) and other (56%).
