Småkraft goes a step further in its latest annual Sustainability Report

Småkraft creates renewable energy that will sustain future generations by
blending its run-of-river hydropower installations in with the surroundings and
uniting with those living near. In the fourth edition of the Småkraft
Sustainability Report, the firm provides an update on its endeavors, benchmarks
itself against relevant metrics and anticipates how climate change is to affect
its operations.

Over the past four years, Småkraft has embedded objective and transparent
sustainability metrics in its governance framework. Småkraft publishes its
sustainability report in accordance with the highest industry standards of the
Sustainability and Climate Standards Global Reporting Standards (GRI) and Task
Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Småkraft makes great efforts to understand climate change and how this affects
the energy generation community in northern Europe. As part of its latest
Sustainability Report, a comprehensive chapter addresses the effects of climate
change on watercourses and how future climatic changes are to affect its
operations in the future.

In its 2022 report, Småkraft increases its efforts to illustrate tangible
processes from the daily practice of operating power plants. The approach on how
to maintain wildlife and fish, how renewable energy create value in local
communities in Norway and Sweden, and how climate change measures are considered
for construction of new installations are touched upon in this year’s report.
