Höegh LNG: Sustainability Report for 2022

Hamilton, Bermuda, 13 April 2023 - Höegh LNG Holdings Ltd. ("Höegh LNG") has
today published its 2022 Sustainability Report. The report highlights our
achievements of the past year, outlines our responsible business practices and
our ambitious goals towards 2030. The report also outlines Höegh LNG's
sustainability strategy, including targets for reducing greenhouse gas
emissions, ramping up its focus on clean energy, and promoting diversity and
inclusion throughout the organization.

Höegh LNG's FSRU fleet is the most modern in the market and has the most
efficient power production currently available for FSRU operations. The scope 1
CO2 emissions from our fleet declined by 15% from 2021 to 2022, largely driven
by changes in the operating mode for our fleet. Höegh LNG's overall climate
ambition remains committed to reducing total CO2 emissions by 50% and having the
first net zero-carbon FSRU in operation by 2030, using 2020 as a baseline.
Energy management, monitoring, and optimization of operations are key drivers of
emissions reductions in the company's fleet.

Höegh LNG's commitment to sustainability has been recognized with a maximum 5
-star rating in GRESB infrastructure assets benchmark report. The company is
proud of this recognition, which further confirms its commitment to the
sustainability agenda and emphasizes that transparency is key to its ESG
program.

The company's Sustainability Manager, Madeleine Hjemmen Storøy, states, "In
2022, we achieved a 65.38% reduction in CO2 emissions per tonne of gas sent out
and made great strides in measuring our scope 2 and 3 emissions and concentrated
on enhancing our performance in a systematic manner. We are proud to say that we
have delivered on plan and have added further ambitions to our roadmap."
