SpareBank 1 Østlandet (SPOL) raises interest rates for mortgages and deposits

Following the increase in Norges Bank’s policy rate, SpareBank 1 Østlandet has
decided to raise its interest rates.

Lending rates will be increased by up to 0.25 percentage points. Deposit rates
will be increased by up to 0.30 percentage points.

Our best lending rate is offered to young first-time buyers and will, after the
change in interest rates, be 3.99 per cent for LOfavør Førstehjemslån. Our rate
for Green loans will be 3.99 per cent.

“This is the seventh time in the past year that Norges Bank has raised its
policy rate. We encourage those customers who are concerned about their
financial situation to contact us as early as possible for advice,” says Kari
Elise Gisnås, Executive Vice President Retail Market at SpareBank 1 Østlandet.

New mortgage rates will apply from 30 March. Adjusted rates for existing
mortgages and deposits will apply from 12 May 2023.

Customers will be notified directly of the interest rate adjustments both via
text message and in their online bank. Non-digital customers will be notified by
mail.
