Andreas Enger, CEO comments: “The market for Höegh Autoliners’ deep sea RoRo
services continue to be strong, and the net average rate achieved in February
increased to USD 72.3 per cbm. The net rate we had in February is the highest so
far in this cycle and the main drivers are repricing of contract cargo in
combination with a strong spot market. The gross rate in February was USD 83.7
per cbm, marginally down from January as BAF compensation was reduced following
lower bunker prices. The reduction in volume in February from an average of 1.4
million cbm per month the last months to 1.3 million cbm is a function of fewer
days in February. All vessels are full on all sailings and utilisation is high”.
