Lausanne, Switzerland, March 06, 2023, – Astrocast, a leading global
nanosatellite IoT network operator, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the
2023 MSUA Satellite Mobile Innovation Awards together with other top industry
satellite companies including Inmarsat, Iridium or Yahsat.

The Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA) is a global not-for-profit
organization dedicated to promoting satellite mobile innovation and development
worldwide and amplifying the voice of millions of satellite service users for
mobile communication, navigation, and safety.

Astrocast launched a commercially available cost-effective, bidirectional
satellite IoT (SatIoT) solution, to connect IoT devices globally when outside of
cell-based terrestrial networks, which cannot access 85% of the world.
Accessibility to Astrocast’s SatIoT solutions, service and modules can transform
the business model for global IoT, opening the door to new, powerful
applications that will accelerate change and deliver value to business,
individuals and the environment.

Astrocast is the only New Space IoT LEO network with commercial access to L-band
spectrum and its miniaturised Astronode Patch Antenna is small enough to be
integrated into any asset, enabling very portable solutions. Optimized for
direct-to-satellite IoT applications, the Astronode S module offers the lowest
peak power consumption on the market.

“We are delighted to be a finalist for the 2023 MSUA Satellite Mobile Innovation
Awards. Astrocast stands proud to be a leading Satellite IoT network operator
and looks forward to being recognized for offering a disruptive technology that
enables greater access to data from remote areas."
said Fabien Jordan, CEO and Co-Founder Astrocast

The MSUA will announce the awards for top satellite mobile innovations during
the 2023 SATELLITE Conference in Washington, D.C. on March 14th. The awards
luncheon will feature keynote speaker Antonio Franchi, Head of the 5G and 6G
Strategic Program at the European Space Agency (ESA).
