M Vest Water won opposition case in European Patent Office

Bergen, Norway, February 28, 2023 – M Vest Water (EURONEXT: MVW).

Reference is made to the announcement of 16 May 2021 where Sorbwater Technology
AS (Sorbwater) filed an opposition against one of MVW’s Oil & Gas related
patents in Norway. Sorbwater extended the opposition to European Patent Office
(EPO) for the EU designated countries.

MVW is pleased to announce that the company has won the case in EPO. The patent
is by that granted in the EPO designated countries including Norway and UK.

Furthermore the patent is granted in North and South America.

In light of the recent breakthroughs of MVW’s NORWAPOL® technology this patent
has an increased value and market potential for MVW within the Oil & Gas
business segment.
