Disclosure of major shareholding in Norwegian Energy Company ASA

KL Special Opportunities Master Fund Ltd, KL UCITS ICAV – KL Event Driven UCITS
Fund, and a sub-fund of Tamerlane S.á r.l., which are investment funds and
accounts managed by Kite Lake Capital Management (UK) LLP, together hold
5,219,585 shares in Norwegian Energy Company ASA. As a result of a issuance of
shares by Norwegian Energy Company ASA in connection with the conversion of
parts of the NOR13 bonds, which was registered on 27 January 2023, those shares
now represent 19.92% of the shares in the company (based on 26,199,472
outstanding shares). Their holding is therefore less than 20% of the shares in
the company as a result of the share issuance. No shares are held by the funds
in the form of rights to shares. The shares are held by custodians in accounts
in the names of the funds and accounts.
