Odd Strømsnes, newly appointed CEO of Bergen Carbon Solutions AS, has today
purchased 30,000 shares in BCS at an average price of NOK 8.2913 per share.

After the transaction, Mr. Strømsnes holds 30,000 shares and 400,000 options in
BCS.
