Sponsored Norwegian Depository Receipts (SNDRs) in Awilco Drilling Plc ("Awilco
Drilling") at a price of NOK 20 per share. QVT's CEO and founder, Dan Gold, is a
member of the board of directors of Awilco Drilling.
