Norlandia Preschools (fully owned by Norlandia Health & Care Group AS, “The
Company”) together with preschool operators Espira and FUS has filed a lawsuit
against several relevant municipalities as well as the Norwegian state
represented by the Ministry of Education.

The companies believe that children in private preschools are not treated
equally with children in municipal preschools, as the law mandates. The claim is
that the subsidies for private preschools for the years 2020 – 2022 and the
relevant regulation be declared invalid.

The lawsuit is in line with what the company has communicated over the years: We
believe the sector to be underfunded and have sought to address this through a
legal process if other processes do not produce results.

The lawsuit has no negative impact on what we have already communicated about
prospects for 2023 and beyond.

A positive, legal clarification of the issues at stake will be beneficial for
the entire sector, and especially the children in our preschools. A positive
outcome of the case will enable increased investments in the human capital
represented by our employees and in our service offerings. Overall, the country
would see a healthier sector.

A press release will be published this morning and contain further information.

The Company will revert with further information when relevant.
