SpareBank 1 Østlandet (SPOL) raises interest rates

Following the increase in Norges Bank’s policy rate, SpareBank 1 Østlandet has
decided to raise its interest rates for lending and deposit products by up to
0.25 percentage points.

“Norges Bank has raised its policy rate several times in the past year with the
aim of curbing high inflation. We encourage customers who are concerned about
their financial situation to contact us early on for advice,” says Kari Elise
Gisnås, Executive Vice President Retail Market at SpareBank 1 Østlandet.

Dates for interest rate changes and information for customers
• For new housing mortgages, interest rates will be adjusted from 21 December
• Rates for existing housing mortgages and for deposits will change from 1
February 2023
• Customers will be notified of the interest rate changes directly
